Why is a Home Inspection so important?

Buying a home can be one of the most important investments you’ll ever make. Your home is your sanctuary, a place where you’ll spend a third of your lifetime. It should be a place of enjoyment, not a nightmare of finding major problems in your home after your purchase. A Home Inspection is one of the best ways to find out about the physical condition of a home you want to buy.

When should a Home Inspection be done?

The best time to do a Home Inspection is at the time you are making an offer on your new home. As a general rule, real estate contracts allow a grace period for building inspection purposes. Make sure your real estate agent includes an inspection clause in your contract offer. Your offer should always be contingent upon the findings of a professional, independent inspection.
